PROOFING & SETUP
When supplied with original art, we will direct scan, correct and proof to be as close as possible to the original. Our systems are tightly calibrated to create true to the original fine art reproductions. Every component is checked daily for deviations to provide consistent results.
In case there is no original art work available; the file is sent to us and opened and tested for color, resolution and shadow/highlight information. We do not retouch, color correct or resize any image provided for giclee printing unless requested by the client.
In both cases, the proofs are printed on the final output substrate (i.e. canvas or art-paper), not generic proofing paper and varnished if the giclée requires it.
