Kolibri Art Studio uses traditional printmaking techniques combined with state-of-the-art equipment and the latest in technology to produce the best possible reproduction for your artwork. Kolibri Art Studio is able to offer you many additional possibilities not otherwise available from other giclée printers. As an example, Kolibri’s coatings and varnishes are applied by serigraph printing presses, the same as the ones given serigraph prints, providing the same rich semi-gloss and high gloss look when appropriate.

Another important advantage that Kolibri Art Studio can provide you is the printing of out-of-gamut colors. Regardless of the brand name, model or type of digital printer, certain colors are simply unattainable in digital printing. Kolibri will add those "out-of-gamut" colors to your digital prints by silk-screening them as "spot" colors. The same process can be used for the application of textured varnishes and other special effects, like metallic inks, to enhance your artwork.
