Since 1991, Kolibri Art Studio has been at the forefront of innovations in serigraphy. We work with all techniques, and technology has become an exciting tool in producing the best possible prints.

Kolibri Art Studio is the creation of Herta Headrick, an artist and a woman extraordinaire. With over twenty years of printing experience, Herta Headrick and her crew of extremely talented chromists and printers combine their talents to produce limited-edition serigraphs combining the best of the old world techniques with the latest cutting-edge technology.

Herta was born in Europe and received her art education and experience in Germany, Switzerland, France, India, and the United States. As an active member of the international fine art printing community she has made tremendous contributions to the world of printmaking. In 1994, Simone Lima and Kolibri owner Wayne Headrick started Kolibri Digital Connection, the digital fine art printing company within Kolibri Art Studio. At that time, we joined Nash Editions and Harvest Publishing as pioneers in digital fine art reproduction. Given the company’s history and accomplishments in serigraph printing, this was a natural transition.

Kolibri Digital Connection is also an international award winner for its printing quality. Artists and publishers worldwide recognize the integrity and beauty of our giclée prints.
